We’re committed to sending less waste to landfill.
We’re delighted to announce that this year has seen just 5.07%* of construction waste across all our projects go to landfill. Not only is this a 2.6% reduction in last year’s figure, it means that we’re well placed to reach the Government target to halve the amount of waste that is sent to landfill by 2012**.
